Weighted Grades Policy

Clark County R-1 High School wants to encourage students to enroll in college level classes and/or Advanced Placement classes.

1. Any Combination of the first 8  dual-credit courses, college courses, or on line college courses (taken for college credit), and/or dual credit courses at Clark County High School that are taken for high school credit only will be weighted. College courses and online college courses must be worth at least 3 college credits to earn 1/2 of a high school credit and be weighted. 

2. Advanced Placement courses taken at Clark County High School will also be weighted.
