The first NHS meeting will be held Friday.
 
Seniors need to turn in their nomination forms for class flower, song, motto, and T-shirt design today to Mr. Gorrell.
 
Student Council Representatives interested in working on a red wagon for Homecoming will be meeting in Mrs. Flood’s Room (#109) on Wednesday, September 9th, @ 7:45 A.M. If you have questions, see Kelsey Wright or Mrs. Flood.
 
There are forms in the office for no school skating at the C.A.R.E. Roller Rena on September 21. Admission is $15 and forms need to be back by September 10th.
 
Old Settler’s Queen Contest entry forms are available in the office. The deadline to enter is September 15th.
 
Homecoming guest dance forms are in the office to pick up. They need to be back by Sept. 10th at noon.
 
If you would like a September lunch menu you can pick one up in the office.
 
SADD will meet September 11th in the morning in Mr. Taylor’s room. SADD will meet on the 2nd Friday morning of each month.
 
Art Club is meeting next Wednesday after school in the art room.
 
Truman State University is hosting a free ACT prep workshop Monday, September 7th @ Truman in the Violette Hall in Room 1400 from 9:00-12:00.
 
Students who are taking Dual-credit through MACC need to bring their checks made out to MACC by September 25th so you will be ready to enroll on Monday, September 28th. You also need to have filled out the Dual-credit application online. Any questions see the Guidance office.
 
Homecoming Week is September 8th – 11th. The theme is circus/carnival “Tame the Tigers!”

Wednesday- Clown Day (Class color Day)
            Freshman- Blue

Friday- Big Top Day (Red and Gray Day)
